[Intro]
The purpose for these lessons is that you work with different materials and get some extra practice.
When you learn Korean (especially when you study by yourself) it is important that you do more than
just learn vocabulary and grammar patterns. With this series you’ll get a dialogue provided by the Talk
To Me In Korean Book “Real-life Korean Conversations: Intermediate” and work on your
comprehension. I recommend to first memorize the vocabulary list (you can find it at the end) and then
start working with the material. I’ll provide short tasks in order to guide you through the chapter but you
can change the order or study method to make it more suitable to you.
You can find the audio files for this series on talktomeinkorean.com/audio

Dialogue in Korean with vocabulary list on the side
Grammar pattern explanations + short grammar practice
English translation of the dialogue
Correct answers of the short grammar practice
Full vocabulary list
[Tasks]
1) Memorize the Vocabulary of the first dialogue (you can find a full list at the end of the file)
2) Listen to the audio file of the dialogue (Track 1) and try to understand as much as you can. If you
want, you can take some notes about what you think the dialogue was about. You can listen to it
multiple times if you are struggling. [Listening Comprehension]
Extra) Listen to Track 2 if you want to hear the pronunciation of the words in the vocabulary list.
3) Play the audio file once more but this time read along. [Reading Comprehension]
a) See how much you understood by just reading
b) Try reading the dialogue out loud. If you have a partner then read the dialogue together.
c) If you are struggling with a certain word/ don’t know how to pronounce something then just
listen to the audio file again. [Speaking Practice]
4) Look through the new grammar patterns and try to understand how they work.
5) Do the short grammar exercises related to the new patterns learned in this unit.
