SAMPLE
Metropolitan areas are always the promising destinations
of many people but city life has never been easy with all of
them. The following essay will address several problems
city dwellers may cope with and personally, I believe that
governments should encourage people to settle down in
suburb or rural areas.

Living and working in major cities, people have to face

several troubles in daily life. First of all, the escalating
living cost seems to be a terrible headache of city dwellers.
In other words, when settling down their life in urban areas,
people may cope with the increasing price of many basic
things such as food, medical services or tuition fees.
Consequently, it is a rising concern among all inhabitants
to catch up with the fast pace of life in metropolitan cities.
Take employees in HoChiMinh City as examples, it seems
difficult for them to manage their life with basic income at
about 5 million VND and this has been weighing burdens
on their personal budget but others living in rural areas can
ensure their basic living standard with the same income.
On the other hand, the excessive immigration may make
environmental problems increase alarmingly. To be more
detailed, the overcrowded cities as well as the high
population density will make waste released into the nature
go up and the waste treatment will be much more
complicated.

As to the question whether the governments should

encourage residents to move in smaller regional towns or
not, we cannot deny the fact that if applied, this policy will
impact people’s life profoundly. Firstly, residents no
longer have enormous pressure about their financial terms.
To be more specific, when inhabitants live in rural areas,
the living cost becomes affordable, consumer products suit
every pocket. As a result, people do not get into severe
trouble with depression and anxiety. Evidence reveals that
in recent years, Hochiminh city aim at encouraging people
to move to small towns such as Binh Duong province or
Bien Hoa city. This policy helps to reduce some situations
such as traffic congestion, overpopulation, the polluted
environment. Besides, city dwellers can also avoid the lure
of social evils as well as aim at a meaningful life in the
future.
In conclusion, it is obvious that there are many problems
related to living in metropolitan areas of people.
Obviously, the governments and residents always make
constant effort to building the civilized society for the
whole community.
