(Seven Dimensions of Well-Being & FITT Principle of Exercise)

Wellness is the integration of the seven dimensions of well-being.

Seven Dimensions of Well-Being

1. Physical wellness
2. Emotional wellness
3. Intellectual wellness
4. Social wellness
5. Career wellness
6. Environmental wellness
7. Spiritual wellness
FITT Principle of Exercise
(F) Frequency – refers to how often you will exercise.
(I) Intensity – pertains to how much effort or work you will exert in exercise.
(T) Type – determines what kind of exercise will help you achieve your fitness goal.
(T) Time – relates to how long you will exercise per session.

II. CONTENT STANDARD


The learner demonstrates understanding of fitness and exercise in optimizing one’s
health as a habit; as requisite for physical activity assessment performance, and as a
career opportunity.

III. PERFORMANCE STANDARD


The Learner leads fitness events with proficiency and confidence resulting in
independent pursuit and in influencing others positively.

IV. LEARNING COMPETENCIES


At the end of the lesson the, I (learners) can be able to:

a. Relate the Seven Dimensions of Well-Being in one’s own lifestyle.


b. Create a Weekly Plan of Exercise using the FITT Principle.
