Grade 7 Oration

“There is Beauty and Power in Unity, We must be United in Mind and Heart”

My courtesy to the Honorable Board of Judges , friends , ladies and gentlemen ,a pleasant good
evening to everyone.
There is beauty and power in unity , We must be united in mind and heart.
My beloved co-contenders , friends , ladies and gentlemen , I am just a tiny, little grade 7
student in our beloved instituion , first timer in everything. A newfighter in the quest for
knowledge and skills, compared to my Lodi and Werpa elder brothers and sisters in the
juniors and the seniors.
In my young years of existence , I quest for happiness , love invited me; I search for peace
and unity , teamwork and camaraderie welcomed me ;
I saw banquet of people in the ring or in the arena, thus I I ask, whats the magic behind sports
and literary ,someone answers me , it build people as a team, as a family .
You might ask yourself , what am I doing here! Why am I here standing before you ?
Friends , Ladies and Gentlemen , I am here, in search for an answers,
WHY ! WHY ! WHY we are here gathered together in this municipal gymnasium?
Look at the passion, the excitement of the persons seated behind you , beside you , and infront
of you. Look at the bleachers left and right , it is crowded with children , sons and daughters
,friends , beautiful ladies and handsome guys , now , do you know the answers my friends ? why
we are here tonight?
Uhhmmm… probably only few knews the answers!
we are all coming together tonight as a family .Cheering together as a team. That’s the beauty
and magic of unity, through sports , camaraderie and teamwork lead us to a one big happy
family. That’s the reason why we are here tonight gathered together to feast and celebrate our
camaredie , our friendship.
With this flock of guest and visitors tonight , I believed that sports, musical and literary events
can unite people,bring people together as a team, build bond and solidarity. sports for years
have brought people united together .
Look at Manny Pacquiao , the Pambansang Kamao ng Pilipinas…every time on his fight results
zero criminality rate ,from a very young age of 5 up to 90 years old filipinos celebrates his victory
, people are united , people come together, and celebrates together as one big happy family.
Look at Vice ganda , Ann Cortes Smith , Bea Alonzo and many more celebreties , they are flucked
thousands of kababayan in the cenema .. to watch their blockbuster movies and concerts.
That’s the way how we filipinos love each other and united together .

Co contenders , respected coaches , panel of the board of judges , our dear expectators , we are
here tonight not to defeat our opponents , we are here not to declare superiority against
someone. We must be here to be sisters and brothers . We must be here to create a one big
family , we must be here to offer unity, remember , we are here to promote friensdhip ,
camaraderie , oneness, and benevolence towards one another .

Ladies and gentlemen , to find happiness is to find love; to achieved peace and unity is to build
teamwork and camaraderie ; sports , literary and musical sparks the light to create a one big
happy family. Lets go for it ; “One heart, one family , and one direction in safeguarding unity and
camaraderie through sports and literary” Good evening everyone and I thank you.
