JOB GT seal oil system startup while generator has been purged with air and gas
turbine is standstill
STATE OF PLANT 1. Gas turbine is stand still
2. Gas turbine generator is purged with air
3. Gas turbine lube oil system is OFF
4. Gas turbine seal oil system “group control” is OFF

Conditions  Need to start seal oil system.

Required to  Need to fill H2 gas inside the generator
start the GT seal  In case of Low seal oil DP
oil system  In case of gas turbine cool down is OFF

Pre requisite  Lube Oil tank level is Normal.

 Both AC and DC seal oil pumps are available.
 Both AC and DC lube oil pumps are available.
 Gas turbine should be standstill and turning gear motor breaker
must put OFF.
 PEECC Electric supplies are energized.
 Both AC and DC seal oil and lube oil pump breaker are normal and
on remote position.
 PEECC DC and UPS system is normal in operation.
 Lube oil heat exchanger is lineup.
 Lube oil filter is lineup.
 CCCW system is in service.
 Lube oil tank temperature should be more than lower temperature
to start seal oil pump 10C.
 All system related isolation valves are in correct position.

Startup of GT seal oil system while Gas turbine is on standstill position.

Action Verification / Remarks

1. Do the setting of analyzer of

Valves lineup must be for air filling
generator and other valve lineup

2. Open the air filling isolation and fill Make sure the air flow and ask CCR keep
instrument air into the generator observing the generator pressure
