Description
Dr. Fixit Bathseal Grout is composed of high quality portland cement, properly selected & graded dry aggregates
& additives. It is ready to use powder to be mix with water while application. It is used to fill gaps around pipe
inserts in wet areas and bathroom walls & sunken portions, etc., which are vulnerable to leakage.

for about 30 minutes

Method of Application
1 S u r fac e P r e pa r at i o n
}}Gaps to be grouted with Dr. Fixit Bathseal Grout need to be free of any grime, grease, oils, etc., that may have
been spilt during construction activity.
}}Ensure that the gap between the surrounding substrate and the pipe is not too wide beyond 50 mm or so. If
more, it is advised to reduce it with the site engineer’s or supervisor’s recommendation.
2 M i x i n g & App l i c at i o n
}}One kg of Dr. Fixit Bathseal Grout will require only 130 to 160 ml of water.
}} Take a convenient vessel. Pour clean 80% of the required water into it.
}} Slowly empty the Dr. Fixit Bathseal Grout into it, under continuous stirring.
}}Keep stirring for 2 minutes. Pour the remaining water. The grout changes from a stiff condition into a flowable
consistency
}}Seal off the leakage of the grout from the other side, and make the grouting water-tight, with a suitable
arrangement.
}} here the pipe is vertically to be inserted in the bathroom floor ( Nahani trap fixture ) slab, balcony or roofs,

proper closure must be done on the bottom side only, which again must be tight enough to prevent leakage of
the grout slurry. In horizontal situations, Dr. Fixit Bathseal Grout must be filled upto flush with the top level
}} Where the application is in vertical walls, adjust the water addition to suit the site condition.

}}I n hot ambient temperatures, one can slightly add a little more water for the mason to be comfortable in
applying the grout.
}}Dr. Fixit Bathseal Grout is cementitious and hence needs curing with water immediately on hardening, as it
develops high strength from 1 to 7 days itself.

}}Addition of water shall be strictly observed. The range mentioned below is for adjustment of a convenient
flowability into the gaps on site.
