People often say that all you have to do to get good at Jiu Jitsu is to simply “show up”.

While, yes, it is true: you need to do Jiu Jitsu to get good at it; however, simply showing up can only take you
so far. 

Think about this example...

There’s a big difference between the student that goes to school every day and the student who goes to school
every day, does the homework, studies for the tests and puts in the work. 

Jiu Jitsu is no different. 

You can either be the student who turns up but feels like they never get better. The student who gets tapped
and smashed on the reg even though they continually put in more hours than others on the mat…

… or you can be one of the few that gets it. 

The choice is yours. 

Knowledge is half the power.
Applying that knowledge is the other half.
But preparation is the key.
