Kurt the crab

Crochet Pattern

At last you have to place the legs.
Abbreviations:
mr: magic ring The assembly depends on how you like the looks
at your Crab.
St: stitches
sc: single crochet
ch: Chain
dec: Decrease (2sc together)

Inc: Increase (2 sc in the same stitch)

**: Repeat throughout the round

Rd: rounds

Materials:

Crochet needle size 2.5mm

Fiberfill

Yarn needle

Black embroidering yarn

Notes:

Shift between the increase and the decrease


to avoid an edgy look.

All the parts must be crochet in a spiral

Assembly:

Place the eyes like you want them.

Then place the claws one at each sides of the


eyes.

Claw Fasten off and sew in end.

Make one big and one small and the crochet them

Put the claws together side by side (picture 1 and

Fill in the eye before you sew the white and the
green part together.

The white edge is going to be sewed inside the


green.

Green (Make 2 parts)

R 1: *11 sc in a magic ring*

R 2: *2 sc in every st* (22)

R 3-6: *1 sc in ever st* (22)

R 7: 1 ch in first st.

Fasten off and leave a tail for sewing.

Black and white (Make 2)

R 1: With black *11 sc in a magic ring* (11)

R 2: Use White *2 sc in every st* (22)

R 3: *1 sc in every st.* (22)

R 4: *9 sc, 2 st together* (20)

R 5: 1 ch in first st.

Fasten off.

Legs (make 6): (If you want it anatomic correctly –
make 8)

R 1: *4 sc in a magic ring (4)

R 2: *2 sc in every st * (8)

R 3-15 *1 sc in every st* (8)

R 16: 1 ch in first st.

Fasten off and leave a tail for sewing.

Stuff a little in every leg.

Body R 24: *5 sc, 2 sc together* (30)

R1: *6 sc in a magic ring* (6)

R2: *2 sc in every st* (12) Assembly: sew all the parts on the side of the
crab, so you can hide the ends inside the body.
R 3: *1 sc, 2 in one st* (18)
