Day 1 – December 3, 2018
It was the first day of my immersion. Excitement, anxiety and anticipation filled my mind. I was looking forward on
what might happened in these two weeks of immersing myself. In this immersion period, I’m about to chance a glimpse of
what my future might become. I arrived at school early and waited for the instructions of my proctor. My proctor, Sir Ricky
Barrion, arrived late because he was busy with other immersion student outside school so I waited patiently. After he arrived,
he ask for my assistant in organizing stuffs then brief me on what I will be doing. Since he is a MAPEH teacher of juniors and
he had nothing to do but to watch over the students practice their Christmas presentations. So my first day was pretty much
uneventful but informative.
Day 2 – December 4, 2018
In my 2nd day, Sir Ricky gave me a task to record the interview questions scores of Grade 12 – ABM/GAS after I gave
the record we went to Grade 7 and watch the students practice their presentations. After Grade 7 students, Grade 8 students
came by and practice their dances while we were supervising and watching. Two periods had come and Sir Ricky don’t have
schedule in the morning anymore. Sir Jayme ask for my present to help him judge and evaluate the research of Grade 11-
ABM students. I was excited that I get to use my knowledge about doing research thanks to these past two years as a senior
student. Afternoon went by and we pretty much did to Grade 9 and 10 what we did on Grade 7 and 8.
Day 3 – December 5, 2018
Another day had come and since Sir Ricky is capable of handling his class and we pretty much have nothing to do
after we watched his class I approached sir Hurry to give my assistance in organizing the school documents. Since they
are a lot of student documents we were able to finish it after so many hours. I was glad I was able to help and lend my hand
out to my fellow immersion students around school.
Day 4 – December 6, 2018
Day 4th came. We just did
Day 5 – December 7, 2018
Day 6 – December 7, 2018
A week just past by.
Day 7 – December 8, 2018
I approached Sir Jayme and ask if I can give a hand as his assistance and he agreed. We organized the quiz papers
and went to Grade 11 – Stem 2 and after Stem 1. He introduce me to the students every class and then I help sir distribute the
papers. After they are done, they submitted the papers to me and also submitted their output in their subject MIL. Afternoon
came and Sir Jayme would be around for the last period so I went there with my fellow immersion students, Praise and
Charles. We were the one in charge of supervising and watching them while they took their quiz. They were pretty much silent
and behave for the whole time which pleases us.
Day 8 – December 9, 2018
It was the National Career Assessment Examination of Grade 9 students we were ask to assist the proctor of the
teachers who came from another school. While we are waiting around we were organizing the tarpaulin of the Grade 12-
Stems students. Afternoon came Sir Jayme ask for my presents since he will not make it for the remaining periods. He ask
me to check the attendance of the Grade 11 students. I first went to Grade 11 – GAS sections and there were not many students
around since they told me they were in the library. Same goes to the sections of ABM and STEM 2. After I’m done checking
attendance I’m done for the Day and off looking forward for the examination day that will happen tomorrow.
Day 9 – December 10, 2018
It was the school’s 3rd quarter final exam for juniors and Grade 11’s 2nd midterm exam and we were tasked to watch
over the Grade 11-GAS students while they were taking exams. As I’m standing in the front I saw a few students cheating and
I would watch them cheat after they realize I’m watching they would focus with their papers and hid from embarrassment of
being caught. As we continue supervising, Charles, my fellow immersion student, saw this specific girl hiding her phone with
her skirt and also hiding her face with her long hair I went to her and told her to hide her phone away which she did right
after I told her. I can tell she’s very embarrass because for the three whole period she her face away with her hair.
