Week 1 evaluation: 13th January - 16th January 2020 

 
Starting Up 
This week I have started on my Final Major Project, henceforth referred 
to as ‘FMP’. I have decided to do a paper animation as it will give me a 
chance to improve my work as we go on. During the idea generation for 
my FMP, I sent out a survey as to which episode of ‘Occult TV’ people 
would like to see as the pilot, my hope being they’d pick ‘Bella’, an easier 
episode to put by itself as I cannot think of any ideas in horror relating 
to its background other than true crime. 

 
 
Ideas Survey 
If I ever get to make ‘Occult TV’ into a series I will have ‘Bella’ as episode 
1, ‘Masked Inhumanity’ will be episode 2, which will have 2 five minute 
long shorts and then from there I will create an episode list and a list of 
potential shorts. As you can see from the above pictures the majority of 
the people who answered actually want to see ‘Bella’. 
  
The majority of their feedback is actually quite helpful as it can help me 
put into words, and writing why exactly people like certain elements of 
horror. 
 
Competition/Client 
I worked with my marking teacher, James Ashford to get a potential 
competition and he found the BAAF, as stated in my brief they have an 
animated episode for a series which is fewer than 15 minutes long. 
Unfortunately, I don’t think I will be able to submit my work for it as it 
closes submissions in February. 
 
What I need to complete: 
● Finish and upload brief. - will be finished by Monday. 
● Film focus group and upload.
