OBJECTIVES:
a. To comprehend all technical elements used to influence the meaning of the drama; and
b. Recognize and differentiate the four types of stages in a stage play.

LEARNING PROCEDURE:
Review of the Previous  What is a gerund phrase?
Lesson:
Motivation:  Did you have any drama class experiences ? If so, what were they like? What
did you gain [aside from knowledge about theatre]?
Lesson Proper:
 Present the day’s objectives.
 Introduce the lesson on the types of stages in a play. Explain each stage.
 Discuss types of shows that would fit in each theatre.
 Explain how a show’s purpose and the audience’s reaction are affected by stages.
Activity/ies:
 Students will be given diagrams and pictures of stages to label
Closure:
 In your opinion, what is the purpose of drama in real life setting? ( build awareness and an appreciation for
the arts and to lay the ground work for lifelong enjoyment and or participation)

END- OF- DAY EVALUATION/ASSESSMENTS:


 Label the parts of the stage and explain each purpose.
