Ukay-ukay

Somebody love's ukay but somebody hate it but for us ukay is the best to all because it is
satisfied in your budget and i know that this branch of clothes will we choice your standards the
beuatiful dress,shorts,skirts,shirts,blouses and other items that in Ukay Ukay. Other people say's
ukay is a branch that for a poor people but why reach people want ukay? because maybe here in
ukay it is a lot that (suwak) in your budget.

I just want to share my experience in ukay i buy a short that worth in 100 pesos but i bid it
in 60 pesos in other branch (tikita) only they paid yes brand new items but they are the same
short i know this because last last year in 2018 December 10 my cousin work in ukay ukay base
on my cousin observation ukay ukay is a very hard working because everybody want a bid to be
a cheap in the price so a lot of people love's ukay Hurly (2010) states: " Clothing, and the products
that you buy, are really how they make you feel"

Ukay Ukay it is a Filipino adaption of "Flea Market" and one of those typhical features from
the Philippines. It began more than 30 year's ago and in a short period of time became a best
bargain sensation in the country, from rags to riches, a shoe-string enterprise, born out of
necessity and grown into a lucrative fasion industry

Ukay ukay (in short UK) is actually gouging in a pile of run down clothes,the word is derived from
the word phrase 'halukay' which literary means "digging" or "make a mess". Nowadays it is a
term use for place that sell old clothes, bag, shoes, and other pre-owned goods a very low
prices(de Jong 2011)

Ukay ukay is not an only ukay it is a business that you can see in earth especially in the
country of Philippines. According to de Jong (2011) Clothing is one of the elementary necessities
in life, in various part of Mindanao even the most basic needs are out of reach for the
underprivileged, looking for good value is a daily cause.

Still, the ukay ukay will benefit the poor and lower middle class most,it will allow them to
bargain for a cheap wear and give them the chance to get hold of mannerly clothing that
otherwise would end up as a cleaning material, meeting its final destination at a garbage site.
These days more and more people want or need to dress for less and are joining the ukay ukay
craze. de Jong Stated: So dig and dear to wear, ukay-ukay is okay. It is the number one shopping
experience for second hand happiness.
