- The color of the body is dark (not pale and there are no white spots.
• Good seed characteristics:

- Uniform body size

- Fast or normal growth time
- Not more spawning results than 6th spawning
- Not inbreeding
- It's better if the sires are certified from the relevant ha
 WATER
• Fresh water and brackish water with low salinity
• From wells and rivers that are clean (not covered and smelly)
• pH of about 7
• Ammonia levels <0.01
• Water is left alone for 5 or 2 days using aeration 24 hours before being treated by the
biofloc system

• Accommodation aims to:

- Deposits excess solids such as sand and mud
- Evaporates harmful dissolved gases
- Enriches oxygen in water
Height of water in a container is at least 80 cm and a maximum of 120 cm

Seed Spread Preparation

Day 1
• The container is filled with water as much as 50% of the total water level
• Dissolve the following ingredients:
 250 gram / m3 of lime powder
 250 gram / m3 fine bran powder ®
 12.5 grams / m3 of yeast powder / tempeh ®
 1 bottle / m3 yakult ® ("Lactobacillus casei" Shirota (also called the "Shirota strain") )
 100 ml / m3 of molasses / molasses
 5 ml / m3 of bacillus bacteria solution ®

Day 3
• Dissolve the following ingredients
- 2.5 grams / m3 of yeast powder / tempeh
- 10 ml / m3 of molasses / molasses
- 5 ml / m3 soluton of Bacillus bacteria

Day 6
• Add water to 100% from the desired height
• Dissolve 250 grams / m3 of powdered lime on a happy evening

Day 7
• Dissolve the following ingredients
- 2.5 grams / m3 of yeast powder / tempeh
- 10 ml / m3 of molasses / molasses
- 5 ml / m3 soluton of Bacillus bacteria
- Acclimaton of 4-6 cm size seeds into containers, preferably done in the morning before hot
weather
- Seed is not fed for 24 hours after acclimaton

If the stock is more than 400 heads / m3, it is necessary to turn on aeraton 24 hours during
maintenance
Harvest.

Biofok Water Maintenance

Days 1 - 6
• Feeding is done in the morning and evening
Day 6
• Additon of reduced water due to evaporaton
• Dissolve 250 grams / m3 of powdered lime at night
Bioflok Water Maintenance
Day 7

Dissolve the ingredients below into water:

 • Fish not fed for 24 hours (fastng)
• 2.5 gram /, 3 yeast powder / tempeh
• 10 ml / m3 molasses / molasses
• 5 ml / m3 soluton of Bacillus bacteria

The next day the treatment was repeated again like days 1-6.

If there is a treatment:
Threat

 Catfish behavior stands in bulk
 No appette

• Water from the bottom of the pond is removed as much as 20-30%

• Add new water to the amount of water that has been removed
• For 24 hours the fish is fasted

BIOFLOK TREATMENT
If catfish shows symptoms of illness:
 Reddish body
 Low appette,
 Slow movement or seem lazy

• Add the garlic soluton to the feed given for 2 days

• Garlic soluton is made by mixing 2 grains of garlic with 100 ml of water
• Dosage can be increased if the pain seems severe

FEED
• Feeding is done twice a day (morning and evening)
• Feed the rinsed probiotc soluton first and let stand for 10 minutes before being given to fish

Amount of feed given:

Total Weight x Feed Rato x 0.8
Example:
At the beginning of stocking, as many as 1,000 seeds with an average of 2 grams / head, the feed given
is:
(1,000 heads x 2 grams / head) x 4% x 0.8 = 64 grams
• Based on these calculatons, it is known that for 2 weeks the feed given is 64 grams / day.
• 32 grams in the morning and 3 grams in the afternoon.
WEIGHT
Total weight = Average weight x Number of seeds

• To determine the average weight, sampling is done

• Measuring part of the seed represents the total amount

Example:
- Out of 1,000 birds, only 30 are weighed
- The weight of 30 heads is 60 grams
- Average weight is 2 grams / head (60 grams / 30 heads)
