1. Electronic Transmission of Railway Receipt (eT-RR)

FOIS/TMS system is be modified to implement the guidelines issued by Railway Board

vide Rates Circular No. 02 of 2015. The following changes were made in FOIS/TMS

Application:

a. The e-Demands/Forwarding Notes marked for eT-RR by the Customer on the e-

Demand module, shall be shown in the List Of Forwarding Notes Screen with a

color indicator in the RR Number Column.

b. Similar color indicator shall be available in the Normal Delivery Book in the

Station From Column for the eT-RRs.

c. To report the surrender of eT-RR and submission of e-Surrender Transaction

Slip, the task is provided at Main Menu → Outward → e-RR Surrender for the

Originating Station and at Main Menu → Inward → e-RR Surrender for the

Destination Station.

d. Once the eT-RR is surrendered by the Customer on the e-Demand Module, a

color indicator shall be shown in the Normal Delivery Book in the Station To

Column.

e. For reporting the Surrender and submission of e-Surrender Transaction Slip, the

task is also provide at Main Menu → Inward → Normal Deliver Book →

Delivery → e-RR Surrender.

f. The normal RR Surrender Options provided in the Diversion/Book Delivery/RR

Surrender/Re-booking Screen shall not work for the eT-RRs and the user shall

report the same on the e-RR Screen link provided above before reporting these

tasks in TMS.

g. The eT-RR shall be generated by the system for the Forwarding Notes marked

by the Customer in the e-Demand Module at the time of Freight Collection for

Paid RRs and at the time of RR Generation/RR Conversion for To Pay RRs.

The printing Provision on the pre-printed stationery shall not be available for the

eT-RRs.

h. The copy of the eT-RRs shall be sent to the Consignor’s registered e-mail id,

once the eT-RRs are generated in the TMS Application.

i. The Generation of Supersessional RR (Diversion), Generation of Re-Booking RR

and Removal of Consignment of the eT-RRs shall not be allowed till the

Customer surrenders the eT-RR on the e-Demand Module and submit the e-

Surrender Transaction Slip to the Railway Authorities and reported in the TMS

Application by the FOIS User.

j. The Supersessional RR and the Rebooked RR issued against original eT-RR

shall be a normal RR and the print provision shall be available for the same on

the pre-printed stationery.
