Math – STUDY FOR MID-TOPIC 5 TEST TOMORROW (Lessons 5.1-5.3)
Math – Workbook Page 315 Question 1 and Page 320 Question 11

5.3 if you feel your child needs additional practice. Please do not complete
any problems for the next day’s lesson.
Reading – Read Scholastic Magazine "Penguins Don’t Need Boots” and
answer this question: What is this article mostly about? How do you
know? Responses must be 3-4 sentences using RAPP.
Word Study – Write a sentence for words 1-4. Underline the word in the
sentence.
Tuesday
Math – Workbook Page 322 Question 4 and Page 328 Question 4

Reading – Read a fiction book for 20 minutes. Write down the title of the
book you read and answer this question: Who is the main character in the
story? What happens to this character in the story? Responses must be 3-4
sentences using RAPP.
Word Study – Write a spelling story using words 5-8. (Remember that a
story has a beginning, middle, and end.)
Wednesday
Math – Workbook Page 328 Question 3 and page 329 (Solve and Share)

Reading – Read a fiction book for 20 minutes. Write down the title of the
book you read and answer this question: Use one word to describe the
main character in the book. Why did you choose this word? Responses
must be 3-4 sentences using RAPP.
Word Study– Words 9-12 use the suffix -s. Write 4 new words that have
the suffix -s. (Write the base word and then the whole word. Example:
shop, shops)
