IIT Bombay - IDC Animation Design 1. Bachelor’s Degree in Design/Engineering/Architecture/ Interior Design: 10+2+4 years (minimum four year Bachelor’s course).
Note: B.Plan. considered equivalent to B.Arch. Four year B.Sc (Engg) course after HSC considered equivalent to BE/B.Tech.
2. Professional Diploma in Design: 10+2+4 years (minimum four year diploma program).
3. BFA (4 Year professional program with entry after 10+2)
4. GD Art (4 year program after 1 year foundation. Minimum entry requirement 10th pass).

Communication Design 1. Bachelor’s Degree in Design/Engineering/Architecture/ Interior Design: 10+2+4 years (minimum four year Bachelor’s course).

IIT Delhi Annual intake of 20 students with B.Arch, B.Tech and B.Des backgrounds

IIT Guwahati

IIT Hyderabad 1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Architecture / Design/ Interior Design or equivalent (4 years duration after 10+2)
2. Professional Diploma in Design (NID/CEPT or equivalent of 4 years duration after 10+2)
3. B.F.A. (4 year professional programme, after 10+2)
4. G.D. Art (5 year programme after 10th) with one year post qualification, professional experience Master's degree in Arts / Science /
Computer Applications (2 year programme after 10+2+3)
IIT Kanpur Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or science (4-year program), Design or Architecture with marks/CPI not below the specified
minimum.

IIITDMJ A minimum of 60 percent marks OR a CPI/CGPA of 6.0 (on the scale of 10.00) shall be required in the Qualifying Degree
(B.Tech./B.Des. or equivalent).
