Why did I choose Elementary Education?

To be honest, it is not my ideal course. Because, a lot of people says, "mahirap

magturo ng mga bata", you will be the first one who will going to insert their first lesson
which they could bring throughout their lives. You are the one who will set the bar for
learning on them. Since you are going to teach young children, you need to be flexible
and creative as long as you can. But since I was left with no choice, I enrolled on this
course.
As I begin the semester, I find it very hard. You will find the difficulty on solving not
because there is a math subject, but difficulty on solving how you could budget your
money when there is reports or demo. But later on, I learned to enjoy this course. There
is a lot of reasons why I learned to love this course, and I will tell you three major reasons
why I did not regret choosing this one. First, it will brought up your creativity. And since I
love doing things related to art, I learn to love this course despite of how much money I
could spend. On this course, you can foster your creativity through the lessons with your
soon to be students.
Second one, it is very hard to teach children, but I learn that it is fun. You will love the
energy and excitement that young children display. Just thinking that you will be the one
who will open the door for their new experiences, it could be such a very rewarding feeling.
And lastly, teaching is my passion. I learned that even though a lot of people find it
difficult to teach young children, as long as it is your passion, you will find the enjoyment
within your heart even though you will be teaching adult or children it is still the same
feeling, the enjoyment and happiness it will bring. So when they ask me why Elementary
education? I will simply answer, why not Elementary education. So If there are words I
want to share to my fellow BEED takers, do not choose this course because your mind
told you that there is no math subject, but choose it because your heart told you to teach
even it is math.
