 Reduce means cutting down amount of trash.
 Reuse means using the old items again or giving to those
who need them. Eg: containers, old clothes, toys
 Recycle is taking materials from products you have
finished using and making brand new products from them.
Eg: Aluminum cans, glass bottles and papers
 To eliminate waste, save cost, conserve natural resources
Rubbish sorting activity
Post-reading 1. Teacher divides pupils into groups of 5 and distributes a bag of TA: Trash, 3 cards
(25 minutes) trash and 3 cards labelled with Reduce, Reuse and Recycle to labelled with 3R’s
