Set Induction Teacher asks 2 students randomly to tell about their happiest moment of this year.

Content Stage 1:
Development Teacher distributes the handouts (refer to Appendix A) to the
students. The teacher plays the song 3 times as the students listen
and fill in the lyrics with the missing words/phrases. Then, the (15 mins)
teacher discusses the answers by choosing the students’ names at
random and asks the selected students to give the missing
words/phrases. The teacher listens and corrects them if there is any
error in their answers. [Evaluation of LO1]
Stage 2: (25 mins)
Teacher instructs the students to work in group and find the meaning
for all 10 missing words/phrases that have been discussed in LO1.
The teacher tells the students to use their dictionary. After 15
minutes, the teacher discusses the meaning with the students by
calling the representatives from one group to another to give their
answers. After that, the teacher briefly explains about the meaning
of the whole song to the students in order to assist their
comprehension. [Evaluation of LO2]

Stage 3:
Next, the teacher plays the song and tells the students to listen
carefully to the singer’s pronunciation. Then, the teacher tells the
students to sing along while the song plays. After singing with the
music on twice, the teacher turns the music off and instructs the
students to sing by themselves. The teacher walks around and listens
to their pronunciation. [Evaluation of LO3]

The teacher states the meanings of 3 words/phrases from the song and asks the
