SPECIAL ELECTIONS FOR SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN (SK)

MINUTES OF THE ELECTION PROCEEDINGS

PARTICULAR DETAIL
I. DATE AND VENUE The Special Election for Sangguniang Kabataan was conducted on
Feb. 16, 2019, at Brgy. Hall

II. REGISTRATION The registration for Special Elections start at 11:00 AM for KK
Members ages 15-30 years old.
III. PARTICIPANTS The activity was attended by a total of 22 Katipunan ng Kabataan
(KK) Members of Barangay Alitap with the Board of Election
Supervisors (BES) and the Panel of Observers, composed of the
following:

IV. HIGHLIGHTS OF THE ACTIVITY
(A) Nominations for Hon. _(SK Chairperson)_, informed the members that there are
the SK Kagawad/s SK.kgwd. (3) vacant position in the Sangguniang Kabataan Members.
Position He also read the qualifications and disqualifications of SK candidates
including the rules of nominations.

Nominations for SK Members followed right away, namely:

1. Ma.Iris Paula M. Talaga
2. Delbert M. Aldama
3. John Mark T. Villamarzo

Above-mentioned nominees were each given 5 minutes to speak.

(B) Casting of Votes The rules and regulations in casting of votes were discussed by the
Canvass and Elections Committee (CEC) Chairperson. Casting of votes
started at 12:15 AM/PM.

[No Problems were encountered during the casting of votes]

[There were some issues/problems encountered during the casting of

votes. However, it was addressed by the Election Committee and BES]

All participating KK Members have casted their votes at 11:50AM/PM.

(C) Counting of Votes Before proceeding with the opening of ballots, the CEC Chairperson
reminded all KK Members to remain seated and observed silence as
the official counting of votes will officially start.

Around 12:50AM/PM, as all ballots were opened, the CEC, under the
Supervision of the BES, tallied all votes casted for SK Member
position.

The summary of votes garnered by each candidate per position are as

The winning candidates were invited to stay in front for the

proclamation of winners.
(D) Issues/Concerns (There was no issue/concern raised.)

Ceremony elected/proclaimed SK Member/s. Delbert M. Aldama, Jonh Mark T.
Villamarzo, Ma. Iris Paula M. Talaga
