Q: How do I sign up for iBiz Muamalat?
A: Steps to sign up for iBiz Muamalat:
i. Contact or visit your home branch (domicile branch) for application form or straightway
download from http://www.muamalat.com.my/fees-and-charges/e-payment-
businesses.html.
ii. Complete filling the application form and required / supporting document and submit to your
home branch
iii. You will be contacted by home branch to collect User ID and Password (and USB 2FA Token for
Authorizer), approximately within next 7-14 days.

Q: What documents should I submit to get access iBiz Muamalat?


A: Please ensure these forms and documents in presence during submission:

A: You will received:

i. A Pin Mailer containing User ID and a temporary Password to access iBiz Muamalat

b) For Authorizer
i. A Pin Mailer containing User ID and a temporary Password to access iBiz Muamalat
ii. PosDigicert Mail, containing token password

Q: How do I upgrade from Inquiry to Full Mode?


A: Refer to you home branch or request through iBiz@muamalat.com.my as additional form and
document are required to be fill up.

Q: What should I do in order to change user and edit user (add new user / terminate existing /
upgrade user’s role / edit user’s profile)?
A: You may send an official letter, or talk to your home branch or directly email to
iBiz@muamalat.com.my for assistance

A: Cut off period is depending by type of services:

Q: What is Bulk Payment?


A: Bulk Transfer is a multiple transaction through single submission via uploading special text (txt)
and excel (xls) file. Bulk transfer per submission can be combined from intrabank, IBG and Rentas
categories. For txt submission, a specific format to be adhered before uploading while for xls, a
special excel template will be given to you.

Q: Any specific cut off period for Bulk Payment?


A: Yes, as tabulated below:

Q: Am I able to perform future dated transactions?


A: Yes, you may submit and approve a future dated transaction up to 30 days in advance. All
approved transactions will be processed on the payment date specified.

Q: How do I know the payment status?


A: There is a transaction status module to view the status of your payment. Any successful/ rejected
payment will be displayed in this module. The status available in the system is as per below:

Status Description
Sent to bank Transaction is successfully approved and pending by the bank for execution.
Processing Transaction is successfully processed and sent to beneficiary bank (IBG Transaction
only).
Successful Transaction is successfully processed by the bank.
Failed Transaction is rejected during processing.
Rejected Transaction is rejected by Checker/ Authorizer user before being processed, or
rejected due to certain reason i.e. Insufficient Fund
Unavailable Transaction encountered error during processing. Transaction is not successful.
Cancelled Transaction has been cancelled before it is being processed by the bank.

Q: Do I get any receipts from payments?


A: You will be able to print transaction Acknowledgment in PDF format as a reference of a payment.

Q: Do I get an acknowledgement from all the payments?


A: Yes, a unique transaction reference number will be generated for each executed payment. An
acknowledgment page will be available for printing.

ACCESS CONTROL (LOGIN AND PASSWORD)


Q: I have received pin mailer from Bank Muamalat branch. What is the detail contains inside the pin
mailer?
A: Information inside the pin mailer are:
Company ID a business customers' identification code assigned by the Bank
an ID assigned by Bank to access iBiz Muamalat and could not be

changed.
a 6 digits number needs to log on to iBiz Muamalat for the first time
Password before change into your own password. User is advised to do first time
login immediately after received from Bank.

Q: My access to iBiz Muamalat has been blocked when I’m doing first time login. Why is this
happen?
A: This was due to user not doing first time login immediately once received new temporary
password from bank. Please email to iBiz@muamalat.com.my or call us for assistance.

Q: Does my password ever expire?


A: Password expires every 90 days in line with standard security measurement. iBiz Muamalat will
notify you 7 days in advance to change your password.

Q: I have forgot my user ID and / or password. What should I do?


A: Kindly call our support team or email to iBiz@muamalat.com.my. For new password request, we
will send a pin mailer containing new generated password.

Q: What should I do if my password has blocked?


A: Kindly call our support team or email to iBiz@muamalat.com.my to unblock you password

Q: What are the rules to set for a new password?


A: The password should:
 be at least 8 characters and with maximum 15 characters without spacing
 contain alpha-numeric and character, for instance P@ssword123.
 no consecutive usage for the last used 6 passwords
 not containing or similarity with User ID, for example if User ID is Khalif, the password cannot
be Khalif1999.

Q: A message ‘Multiple Session error’ appear when I try to login. What should I do?
A: ‘Multiple Session’ message error normally prompts due to inappropriate logoff occured by User.
If this happen:
 Close the entire browser
 Wait for 7 - 10 minutes
 Try to re-login
If the error message persists, contact us for assistance.

2FA USB TOKEN


Q: What is 2FA PKI USB Token used for?
A: 2FA PKI USB Token is a cryptographic identity verification which is a medium to perform digital
authorization through iBiz Muamalat. This small and easy to carry token provides a host of
indispensable protective measures for digital communication and transaction through
Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) data encryption technology. The 2FA PKI USB
Token contains a smart chip in a USB token form.

Q: What is the minimum system requirement for 2FA USB Token?


A: You need a:
 Window OS-supported PC
 fast speed internet connectivity
 Internet Explorer browser
 ST3 USB Token device
 ST3 USB Token installer
 Java platform

Q: I have forgotten my token password. What should I do?


A: Kindly refer to ‘1CRS User Manual: Token Unblock’ for the steps. For fast assistance, you may

Q: I have made understand that 2FA USB Token expires for every two (2) years. Any alert to notify
me prior to my token expiration?
A: You will received email alert 3 times (2 months, 1 month and 1 week) prior to your token expired.

Q: What should I do to renew my 2FA USB Token?


A: Kindly prepare and submitted these required items:
 Fill up ‘PosDigicert 2FA Digicert’ Form
 Copied of both sided of NRIC
 A payment of RM100.00, via three (3) methods:
a) Online Transfer - to attach proof of payment herein i.e. print receipt

A: You should:
 Keep your authentication token in a secure place.
 PIN code must remain confidential.
 Select a unique PIN so it's hard for anyone to guess
 Regularly change your PIN
 Request for token revocation should the authorizer is no longer with the organization or
downgraded.

Q: I cannot approve a payment as a message box ‘Digital signature invalid. Please check your
token’. What should I do?
A: You have to ensure:
i. ST3 Token has successfully installed
ii. ST3 USB Token plugged into PC’s USB port
iii. Disable pop-up blocker at Internet Explorer
iv. Java completely installed and verified via Internet Explorer browser
v. Managed Java Exception Site List

Q: I cannot approve a payment as a message box ‘Failed to validate certificate. The application will
not be executed’. What should I do?
A: You are required to clear Java cache. Kindly follow these steps:
i. At your Window OS, go to ‘Control Panel’
ii. Under Control Panel, click on Java or Java (32-bit). In case you didn’t see this, at the top right
pane, switch <View by : Category> to <View by : Small icons>
iii. Upon clicked on Java, click on ‘General’ tab and click on ‘Settings’ which is under Temporary
Internet Files submenu.
iv. At Temporary Files Settings > Disk Space, click on ‘Delete Files’
v. At Delete Files and Applications, tick all 3 boxes (Trace and Log Files, Cached Applications
and Applets and Installed Applications and Applets), and click ‘OK’.
