Q: What is iBiz Muamalat?
A: Is a corporate Internet banking service designed as a one-stop-channel to facilitate corporate
customers to view monetary portfolio and perform transaction at own desk.
Q: Any specific hardware and software requirement that I need before log into iBiz Muamalat?
A: To ensure iBiz Muamalat performing at its best, we recommend the following:
Personal Computer (PC)
Fast-speed internet connectivity
Operating System : Windows XP and above
Browser : Internet Explorer 7 and above
Acrobat Reader 5.0 and above
Latest Java Flash Application (for 2FA USB Token purpose, Authorizer only)
USB Port (for 2FA USB Token purpose, Authorizer only)
SUBSCRIPTION
Q: How do I sign up for iBiz Muamalat?
A: Steps to sign up for iBiz Muamalat:
i. Contact or visit your home branch (domicile branch) for application form or straightway
download from http://www.muamalat.com.my/fees-and-charges/e-payment-
businesses.html.
ii. Complete filling the application form and required / supporting document and submit to your
home branch
iii. You will be contacted by home branch to collect User ID and Password (and USB 2FA Token for
Authorizer), approximately within next 7-14 days.

Must be initialized on every page by authorized signatory (ies).

Q: What should I do in order to change user and edit user (add new user / terminate existing /
upgrade user’s role / edit user’s profile)?
A: You may send an official letter, or talk to your home branch or directly email to
iBiz@muamalat.com.my for assistance
FEATURES
Q: What are the roles available to access iBiz Muamalat
A: Types of role available for iBiz Muamalat:
v. Bulk Transfer
Allows you to initiate Intrabank (pay to Bank Muamalat), IBG, Rentas and payroll through
one bulk submission instead single transaction via uploading txt or xls file.
Status Description
Sent to bank Transaction is successfully approved and pending by the bank for execution.
Processing Transaction is successfully processed and sent to beneficiary bank (IBG Transaction
only).
Successful Transaction is successfully processed by the bank.
Failed Transaction is rejected during processing.
Rejected Transaction is rejected by Checker/ Authorizer user before being processed, or
rejected due to certain reason i.e. Insufficient Fund
Unavailable Transaction encountered error during processing. Transaction is not successful.
Cancelled Transaction has been cancelled before it is being processed by the bank.
Q: My access to iBiz Muamalat has been blocked when I’m doing first time login. Why is this
happen?
A: This was due to user not doing first time login immediately once received new temporary
password from bank. Please email to iBiz@muamalat.com.my or call us for assistance.
Q: A message ‘Multiple Session error’ appear when I try to login. What should I do?
A: ‘Multiple Session’ message error normally prompts due to inappropriate logoff occured by User.
If this happen:
Close the entire browser
Wait for 7 - 10 minutes
Try to re-login
If the error message persists, contact us for assistance.
Q: I have made understand that 2FA USB Token expires for every two (2) years. Any alert to notify
me prior to my token expiration?
A: You will received email alert 3 times (2 months, 1 month and 1 week) prior to your token expired.
b) Cheque, Bank Draft, Money Order & Postal Order - to attach proof of payment
together i.e. transaction slip

Q: What general 2FA USB Token security handling practices should I take into account?
A: You should:
Keep your authentication token in a secure place.
PIN code must remain confidential.
Select a unique PIN so it's hard for anyone to guess
Regularly change your PIN
Request for token revocation should the authorizer is no longer with the organization or
downgraded.
Q: I cannot approve a payment as a message box ‘Digital signature invalid. Please check your
token’. What should I do?
A: You have to ensure:
i. ST3 Token has successfully installed
ii. ST3 USB Token plugged into PC’s USB port
iii. Disable pop-up blocker at Internet Explorer
iv. Java completely installed and verified via Internet Explorer browser
v. Managed Java Exception Site List
vi. Set Internet Zone Setting as ‘Medium Low’ or ‘Low’

Q: I cannot approve a payment as a message box ‘Failed to validate certificate. The application will
not be executed’. What should I do?
A: You are required to clear Java cache. Kindly follow these steps:
i. At your Window OS, go to ‘Control Panel’
ii. Under Control Panel, click on Java or Java (32-bit). In case you didn’t see this, at the top right
pane, switch <View by : Category> to <View by : Small icons>
iii. Upon clicked on Java, click on ‘General’ tab and click on ‘Settings’ which is under Temporary
Internet Files submenu.
iv. At Temporary Files Settings > Disk Space, click on ‘Delete Files’
v. At Delete Files and Applications, tick all 3 boxes (Trace and Log Files, Cached Applications
and Applets and Installed Applications and Applets), and click ‘OK’.
