1. THE NEED
In analysing problems and making decisions, there are two types of thinking used, which are
critical (logical) thinking and creative thinking. In the practice of good problem solving, a
problem and its solution begin by looking at it from a creative point of view. Then the idea is
changed so that it becomes logical.
In general, humans do use logical thinking in making decisions to respond to a situation. They
will not perform an action if they feel that it is not logical in their mind. However, sometimes
there is a problem that the decision or action does not work out as expected. This situation
arises because logical thinking is influenced by several factors.
Among the things that affect the logical mind are intuition, perception, assumption and
emotion. In using logical thinking, the emotional factor is a temporary factor and will lose its
effect once the individual returns to rationality. The assumption factor can be overcome
when an individual gets additional information.
The perception factor is quite difficult to overcome because what we see and interpret is
based on our perception. Because there are several methods for managing perception that
are not known to the general public.

Specifically, after attending this course session participants know and understand

➢ The influence of perception, Intuition and assumptions in critical thinking
➢ How manage Perception, Intuition and assumptions
➢ The Usage of Logic Mental Law in Situation Analysis
➢ How to critically evaluate information, Problem and Solution
➢ How problems arise in daily activities
3. METHODOLOGY
This course uses two main methods, which are lectures and group work. Through lectures
and two-way discussions, participants can understand the concepts of the introduced
subjects.
This program is suitable to all Industries namely, Manufacturing, Corporate, Plantation Sales
& marketing and Etc. Technical professionals moving into management positions /
Experienced Executives / Managers who desire to build upon and enhance their Analytical
skills. Managers / Senior Managers seeking to advance their careers who desire to

HRD Corp Registered Employers, Employers will be granted CONDITIONAL APPROVAL of their
application within 24 working hours of submission. Employers must also ensure their

conditions outlined by HRD Corp. In the event Claims by Training Provider are rejected or
withhold payment for claims by HRDcorp that did not meet the prescribed terms and conditions.
The Training Provider shall recover any/all damages or losses directly from the Registered
