unwanted (16 percent) or mistimed (20 percent), and research suggests
that culture and lack of education may be a factor. Using focus group
consist of 30 randomly selected Filipino women, this study aimed to
identify and compare the attitudes of the Filipino women and their attitude
towards various kinds of contraceptives with regard to each method
separately.

Focus group discussion revealed findings Filipino Women with the

use of contraceptives as they are not fully aware of these various kinds of
contraceptives. Based on these findings, it is suggested that to decrease
unplanned pregnancy, Filipino women must pay attention to the role of
contraception, and use intervention techniques. These findings may allow

unplanned pregnancy among women.
