SMSCOSEPT SCRUB
(Hand Scrub Washing Solution)
I- Purposes:
Helpsto reduce bacteria and organisms on
hands and forearms that potentially can cause
disease.
II- Composition:
• Chlorhexidine Gluconate 4% w/v
• Isopropyl alcohol 4% w/v
• Surfactants
• Other ingredients
III- Application:
• Ready to use
• Do not diluted
• Excellent hand sanitizer properties
• Ideal to be used in hospital, clinic area, exam
room andlaboratories.
IV- Directions for Use:
• Remove jewelry
• Wet hands and forearms with water and apply 5
mL of SMSCOSEPT SCRUB
• Scrub hands and forearms for at least 30
seconds particularly attention to nails, cuticles
and interdigital spaces and wash.
• Rinse thoroughly with water
• Repeat the previous steps, if needed.
V- Warning:
• For external use only
• Do not Use
- if you are allergic to Chlorhexidine gluconate
or any other ingredients in this preparation
- as a patient preoperative skin reparation
especially on the head or face)
- in the genital area
• When using this product
- keep out of eyes, ears, and mouth. May
cause serious and permanent eye injury if
placed or kept in the eye during surgical
during surgical procedures or may cause
deafness when instilled in the middle ear
through perforated ear drums.
- if contact occurs, rinse with cold water right

- wounds which involve more than the
superficial layers of the skin should not be
routinely treated
- repeated general skin cleansing of large body

reduce the bacterial population of the skin
• Stop use and ask a doctor if irritation,
sensitization, or allergic reaction occurs and
lasts for 72 hours. These may be signs of a
serious condition.
• Keep out of reach of children if swallowed, get
medical help if required.

VII- Disinfectant/Container Disposal
Information:
Discard residual solution into drain. Flush drain
thoroughly with water.
Container Disposal: Do not reuse empty
container. Rinse and dispose as per hospital
policy.
VIII- Storage Condition:
• Store in a well-ventilated room not exceeding

30 C.
• Keep the container sealed at all the time and
store in upright position.
