The Local Youth Development Council is created under R.A 10742 “Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act of
2015”, which stated that every province, city and municipality should have an LYDC. The purpose of the
said council is to assist the planning and execution of projects and programs of the SK, and the
Federation in all levels. The LYDC shall be headed by the SK Federation President and representatives of
youth and youth-serving organizations in the municipal level.

JANUARY 24, 2020 9am at the MLGOO Office near Samal Public Market to discuss the importance of
the LYDC, partner agencies such as the National Youth Committee (NYC) and Youth Organization
