A RESOLUTION ADOPTING AND APPROVING THE LOCAL YOUTH

DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR 2023-2025 OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF SAN
EMILIO, ILOCOS SUR

WHEREAS, Republic Act 10742, also known as the 2015 SK Reform Act,
ensures broad and multi-sectoral youth participation in governance; a local
youth development council has been established to assist in the planning and
execution of projects and programs of the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) and
Pederasyon at all levels;

WHEREAS, The SK Reform Act of 2015 mandates the creation of a three-year

Local Youth Development Plan (LYDP) that includes development programs,
initiatives, and activities for the benefit of youth organizations and youth-
serving organizations represented by Sangguniang Kabataan;

WHEREAS, in line with Republic Act No. 8044 Nine Youth Agenda, the LYDP
must be created in conjunction with LYDC members;

WHEREAS, the LYDP shall serve as the foundation for Sangguniang

Kabataan's drafting of the CBYDP and other local youth development plans in
their respective barangays;

WHEREAS, the LYDC is comprised of the eighth (8) youth organizations/youth-

serving organizations, as well as the president and vice president, to ratify the
LYDP;

WHEREAS, after thorough study of the council, it was found out that the same
is in order;

NOW THEREFORE, upon the motion of Hon Jesamiel C. Ngangac, LYDC

President, duly seconded by the body assembled be it; RESOLVED, AS IT IS
HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE LOCAL YOUTH DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL IN
SESSION, to approve the Three-Year Local Youth Development Plan (LYDP) for
2023-2025 of San Emilio, Ilocos Sur;

RESOLVED FINALLY, to transcribe copies of this resolution and be forwarded

the same to all concerned, for their information and guidance.

ADOPTED: this 1st day of December 2022 at Brgy. Cabroan, San Emilio, Ilocos
Sur, Philippines.
