What is a School-Parent
Compact?
A School-Parent Compact for
Achievement is an agreement that
parents, students and teachers
develop together.
The Farmdale International Baccalaureate
(IB) Primary Years Program (PYP) staff,
students and parents agree that this compact
outlines how the entire school staff, the
parents, and the students will share the
responsibility for improved student academic
achievement. This School-Parent Compact
will build and develop a partnership that will
help children achieve the state’s high
standards and work towards being
internationally-minded.

input from Farmdale Staff, the English
Language Advisory Committee (ELAC)
and the School Site Council (SSC). This
document is revisited and updated
annually.
