What do call the solid, liquid and gas in
general?
Excellent. Children, today we are going to
study about states of matter.

Did you know children that   Yes, teacher
everything around us are made
up of matter? Is that clear
children?
Ma’am, the 3 states of matters are:
What are the 3 states of matter?   solid,  liquid and gas.
Write them on the board and I
have here chocolate candy, and I
will give these to those who will
recite.
Yes Gyehen, go to the board and
write them okay?
Very good Gyehen, here is your  chocolate candy  Ma’ am I learned about state of matter and
you discuss what are those three states of
Okay class, I will give you an  activity individually.  matters
Activity
Give at least two(2) example object of each  solid, liquid, and gas. You
can write it on your  paper or find an object that represent solid,  liquid
and gas.
Example:
1. Gas - oxygen
2. Solid – banana
3. Liquid – water
Result
Some students are submitted object and  some are submitted their
preparation papers.
Children I want you to share what you have  learned to our discussion.
Who want to  share?
You know already the three states of matter.  What are those?  Solid, liquid, and gas teacher.

I’m sharing you some pictures can you
identify. Are its okay children?

Summary
• The liquids change shape  depending on their
container.  A solid has a contain size and  shape.
Gas no shape or size.
• Matter is what is all around us  and all matters
comes different
forms.
• Some matter is in their form of  solid and some is
in the form
of gasses.
• Matter is made of form atoms  are the smallest
particles od
matter. They are so small that  you cannot see them!
• Solid matter has atoms that  are packed very
tightly  together. Solid thing holds  their shape all
by themselves  when they are room  temperature.
