I. 4th Grade
● Students will be given 60 minutes to complete this exam
● The exam for 4th Grade will be based upon the Texas Essential Knowledge and
Skills (TEKS) from the TEA Website
● Calculators are not allowed
● Students will be allowed to write on the exam
● Final scores are determined from the answers bubbled on the answer document
● Points are not deducted for an incorrect or a blank answer
● Students must stop working on the exam after time runs out or else their test will
not be scored
II. 5th Grade
● Students will be given 60 minutes to complete this exam
● The exam for 5th Grade will be based upon the Texas Essential Knowledge and
Skills (TEKS) from the TEA Website
● Calculators are not allowed
● Students will be allowed to write on the exam
● Final scores are determined from the answers bubbled on the answer document
● Points are not deducted for an incorrect or a blank answer
● Students must stop working on the exam after time runs out or else their test will

III. Advanced Mathematics
● Students will be given 20 minutes to complete the Challenge Section of this test
● Students will then be given 5 minutes to complete the Speed Section of this test
● The exam for the Elementary School Advanced Mathematics will be based upon
the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) from the TEA Website for 6th
Grade. Furthermore, students will be given a speed test based on the minute
maths concepts.
● Calculator is not allowed
● Students will be allowed to write on the exam
● Final scores are determined from the answers bubbled on the answer document
● Points are not deducted for an incorrect or a blank answer
● Students must stop working on the exam after time runs out or else their test will
not be scored
IV. Calculator
● The exam for calculator will be based upon the Texas Essential Knowledge and
Skills (TEKS) from the TEA Website for 4th and 5th Grade.
● Students can bring their own calculator but one will be provided for them if
needed
● Proctors and chaperones cannot answer any questions regarding the functions of
the calculator
● Students will be allowed to write on the exam
● Final scores are determined from the answers bubbled on the answer document
● Points are not deducted for an incorrect or a blank answer
● Students must stop working on the exam after time runs out or else their test will

V. STAAR
● The exam for STAAR will be based upon the Texas Essential Knowledge and
Skills (TEKS) from the TEA Website for 4th and 5th Grade.
