Mini Mathletes Competition 2018 

Calculator Test 
 
To turn on the TI-83 calculator, press the black button in the bottom left of the calculator labeled [on]. The [​÷​], [X], 
[-], and [+] are the blue buttons on the right side of the calculator. The decimal point is located between the [0] and 
the [(-)] on the bottom of the calculator. The parentheses are above the numbers 8 and 9. If you make a mistake 
while typing, press the [clear] button at the upper right of the calculator. The = button on this calculator is the blue 
button on the bottom right that says [Enter]. If you have any problems with the calculator during the test, raise your 
hand and a proctor will come to help you. Good luck!
