I. PROJECT TITLE
PROJECT JHEMM ( Join hands to Enhanced MPS )

II. PROBLEM DEFINITION & BACKGROUND

Mauban South Central Elementary School- II aim to raise the bar of academic
excellence of our 21st century diversity learners thru the desire of our competent and
nurturing teachers to enhanced their knowledge and skills.
The school has an increasing demand for good quality education that seems to be
declining because of Mean Percentage Score (MPS) result that is quite alarming in
different subject area which in the first quarter we have 54.91% overall average MPS in
all subject area while in the second quarter is 52.92%. In reponse, to that the School
Principal created project teams that will focus on the designated area of concern. Team
MPS come up with the Project JHEMM which stands for Join hands to Enhanced MPS.
This project will focus on the enhancement of the school over all MPS in every learning
area. The target is to increase the MPS in 88% average in all learning areas in every
quarter.

III. PROPOSED SOLUTION-PROJECT GOAL & OBJECTIVES

These are the objectives of this intervention:

1. To identify the least learned skills in all the subject areas in every grade level
2. To construct reliable materials to enhanced the learning of the pupils.
3. To increase the MPS in all subject area by 65%.
4. Train the learners to have study habit at home.
5. Intensive efforts to involved parents and stakeholders.

V. PROJECT BENEFICIARIES
The project will be beneficial to all pupils with difficulty in learning in all grade level.
Who will carry-out the project?
The Principal, Project Team, MPS Coordinator, Teachers and Pupils are
responsible to carry out and implement the project.

VI. PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Project JHEMM will be managed and administered through the following:


1. Assess the root cause of low MPS and identify the least learned skills in every
subject area in all grade level.
2. Plan and meet with the Principal, Project team, Teachers, Parent/Stakeholders.
3. Set time schedule and Find available resources/ materials to be used in remedial
teaching.
4. Monitoring and Evaluation during the Implementation of the Project.
5. Awarding/ Recognition to teachers/learner who achieved the highest MPS.
6. Submission of Reports.

VII. PROJECT PERSONNEL

X. PROJECT MONITORING AND EVALUATION

To monitor and evaluate the project, the following forms and tools will be

XI. SUSTAINABILITY

To be able to sustain the projects, the following activities are proposed:

1. Regular meeting with parents of pupils experiencing difficulty in learning.


2. Continuous monitoring of the project.
3. Intact record of pupil assessment.
4. Conducting action research and Intervention.
5. Willingness of teacher in conducting remedial classes.
6. Give recognition/ awards to the persons involved.
7. Benchmarking
