Dear HRD Wärtsilä Indonesia,

I wrote this letter to express my interest in the position of Service Engineer in your respected company. I
just got an associate degree in Manufacture Engineering, study program Maintenance Engineering from
Politeknik Manufaktur Bandung, I hope to give my knowledge, skills, and commitment to your innovative
company.

As students from Maintenance Engineering, I have learned basic knowledge of mechanical technology
expertise, hydraulic pneumatics, electricity, manufacturing processes, and production techniques.
Special expertise is emphasized in the techniques of maintenance (preventive maintenance) and repair
of production machinery. An engine maintenance & repair engineer must be able to plan schedules,
costs and arrangements (management) of machine maintenance activities, carry out engine repairs,
spare parts replacement, even to making parts when needed. Engineer maintenance & repair experts
can work in almost all industrial sectors, especially manufacturing industries.

My internship experience at PT. Multistrada Arah Sarana Tbk as Mechanical Maintenance has also
added sufficient skills to work with several professionals in maintenance or service engineer. I have
experience to do Preventive Maintenance, Trouble Repair and Improvement. During the internship, I get
used to troubleshoot any problems with the machines and tools.

My achievement during an internship is has initiated 7 Improvements which included 3 machine

modification, 2 minor modifications, and 1 tool making. Most of the improvements that I initiated are to
prevent any repetitive damage which causes loss of time, production and cost. All of that has been
approved by the section head and maintenance manager.
