SOLUTIONS TO ADDRESS THE PROBLEMS AND ISSUES IN SCHOOL

1. Enrolment
 Our school has a less number of enrolemnt for some reasons. Others
migrated to other barangays for their livelihood, lack of interest, family
problems and poverty. Our school conducted a home visitation to
encourage the out of school youth to continue their studies.

2. Learner’s Materials
 We all know that the school is always lacking of learner’s materials. To
address this issue we looked for a materials available in the LRMDS portal
and have it printed and made some reading charts that is usefuk to the
learners because I do believe that teachers are bound to make the
impossible, possible.

3. Nutritional Status
 Allocated budget from MOOE for School-Based Feeding Program
 Conducted school-based feeding program to alleviate children from
malnutrition.

4. Drop-out Rate
 Conducted meeting with parents of the students/pupils at risk of dropping
out
 Implemented the Child Protection and Anti Bullying Policy with the support
of parents, PTA and other organization to keep every child away from
different abuses.
5. Stakeholders Participation
 Give recognition to parents who actively participated school programs and
activities for the entire school year.

6. Absenteeism
 Flu, colds, and other ailments usually keep students from coming to
school so the school increased the awareness and importance of
handwashing as one way in preventing diseases through lesson
integration
 Provided soap in a washing area to reduce the spread of germs

7. Reading Performance Level

 procured and reproduced reading materials, conduct remedial reading
instruction, make every lesson a reading opportunity, peer reading and
others that address reading issues in school.
 purchased chart, flashcards, and other instructional materials needed for
remediation.

8. Teacher’s Professional Development

 Attended training, LAC, INSET and earning a Master’s Degree

9. Safe Learning Environment

 Integrated in the lesson the preparedness, precautionary safety measures
before, during and after a calamity happens.
