GENERAL GUIDELINES AND INSTRUCTIONS

OVERVIEW OF CRITERIA

1. Design and Specifications


All freshmen are required to make a mini book-like compilation containing the names of all enrolled students in
higher year level of the said campus.

The size must be of 8.5 x 11 inches (21.6 x 27.94 cm) following a design that corresponds to their respective
courses.

Note: The soft copy of master list of the seniors will be provided by the SSC. *Each freshman shall then provide their own copy and
given opportunity to modify the given size for their convenience.

2. Signing Proper
All recognized freshmen, which also includes transferee students, are required to take part of this activity.

Setting up of challenges in exchange of a sign are optional and may be in any form as long as THIS CHALLENGES
DO NOT POSE EMBARRASSMENT AND HARM TO THE FRESHMAN STUDENTS.

Seniors, organizations and the SSC officers are asked to STRICTLY PARTICIPATE and comply to sign. They were
given a chance to make dares that follows appropriateness.

The seniors are to make a unique way of signing to avoid cheating in the side of Freshman Students.

Signing must be performed in the availability of students and shall NOT interfere with their class hours or activities.

3. Pointing System

Each freshman will initially have 100 points. Each unsigned name converts into different deductions in the
given points as stated below:
• 1-point deduction for every unsigned name from higher year of other course.
• 3-points deduction for every unsigned name from the higher year of the same course.
• 5-points deduction for every unsigned name from the SSC and other Organizations (MAJOR POSITIONS ONLY).

4. Violations and Punishments


4.1 Those students who will have 50, 40, 30, 20 and below remaining points will face the SECRET CHALLENGES
prepared by the SSC and other organizations. These challenges should not harm nor embarrass the students and
will correspond to fill in their remaining points.

4.2 Freshmen should not copy any signature or perform any type of cheating. The SSC will thoroughly scan each
output and if found cheating, that person will be punished by the SSC accordingly.

4.3 The booklets are expected to have the right dimensions, contain every person in the master list and the senior’s
signatures. The punishment of any missed name from the master list follows the deduction measures in section 3,
where in this case, doubled;

• 2 - point deduction for every unsigned name from higher year in other course.
• 6 - points deduction for every unsigned name from the higher year in the same course.
• 10 - points deduction for every unsigned name from the SSC and other Organizations (MAJOR POSITIONS ONLY).

4.4 Seniors who will be reported to intentionally concealing oneself (hiding and avoiding freshmen), pose dares that
humiliates or degrades freshmen or asking money in exchange of a sign will be punished by the SSC’s settled
verdict.

4.5 Class delays or interruptions made by this activity will have a deduction of *30 points to students. Further
punishments made by the professors for the same reason is deemed acceptable as well.

5. *Awards and Recognitions


There will be a SPECIAL and SECRET set of awards for the following Freshmen and Seniors as well:

• First to the Egg: 10 Students who 100% accomplished the task without issue/s and submitted FIRST to
the SSC Council
• Submits to Impress: Best in design award (by courses)
• Seniors choice award
• SSC choice award
• Every Organizations choice award
**Note: SSC are expected to coordinate with the teachers for additional incentives for those students who did well in this
activity

6. Deadline
Deadline of the submission of booklets should be in September 2 or earlier in the year of 2019. The recurring
punishment/s for those who failed to comply shall only take a week after to process.

*Note: Some contents remain as a subject for discussion. Also, conceive that there are no recognized exceptions as this is rendered
COMPULSARY.
**Note: The activity is regarded as a requirement that values (1) creativity and camaraderie than competition, (2) and does not share
any responsibility with the professors or instructors alike as a form of respect with how they grade and give incentive to their
students. Therefore, incentives shall be of subject for discussion.
