My greetings to everyone!

It is my sheer pleasure to be a part of the school which has excelled in providing

such talented youth to the nation. From the very beginning, this school has
attained distinctions in sports, academics and even extra-curricular activities. I
remember the day when the students of class XII brought a golden trophy and
made headlines in the entire city. Such big and small achievements have always
contributed to the development of this institution. This would not have been
possible without the efforts of our truly dedicated and committed students and
faculty members.
It is an honor for me to be part of your high school grand alumni homecoming.
This is my 8th month of service being the school head of Samar National School and
my first alumni homecoming with you Samariñan’s. Added to that, this is by far my
most festive and fun-filled celebration I’ve ever attended. I maybe new to my role as
the school’s principal, yet my heart is with you in this momentous evening!

Dinner.
Alumni Homecoming is a time to celebrate. It is coming back home to where you
once felt love by strangers, whom you now call as batchmates! But you have so much
more to celebrate, your school is one of the oldest and most distinguished public high
schools in the region. It has produced not only quantity but above all quality
individuals who owe their intellectual beginnings to your dear Alma Mater. Year after
year, some of the country’s most talented young men and women file out of our
campus on their way to big colleges and universities. Hence, they are certainly with
us tonight.
Tonight is not only a great occasion to rekindle your best high school
memories. It is also an occasion to look back and see the distance you have travelled
since you left, more importantly, this is an occasion to set up new goals and targets
for yourselves, not only in the pursuit of personal ambitions, rather in the service of
our country and for the school in particular.Succesful people do not just wallow on
their personal attainment rather prosperity is best practiced in an inclusive society
and this is actually the trend now,in fact this is an educational trust in the k to 12
schools. This gives the greater meaning to human existence. With this, I would like to
extend my heartfelt thanks to the host batch for their pledge to help SNS, in fact,
they have started with their scholarship program. Last Tuesday they extended
community service together with the golden jubilarian through a feeding program. I
also want to thank the host for 2019 alumni homecoming, batch 1993, for positively
accepting the challenge in preparing the school for Brigada Eskwela 2019.
As we give time to honor our host class – Batch 1992, together with the
organizers of our Homecoming activity next year – Batch 1993 and to the honoree
classes of 1978 (Ruby), 1973 (Silver Jubilarians) and 1968 (The Golden Jubilarians), let
us be proud to witness how far they have soared; how great they had become; and
simply how they live their lives all these years.
Remember that this is your night. This is your moment. This is your time because
you went through different battles; big and small, you encountered significant ideals,
you failed yet you have succeeded. Ironically, all the milestones bumped in but what is
essential you have chosen to be here tonight– to pay respect to the place where you
started your dreams, the place where people embraced you and added your life extra
meaningful.
For making Samar National School proud, for making the City of Catbalogan
honoured. and for making our country a better place to live in. – I am truly grateful.
Be assured that your Alma Mater will continue to produce brilliant members of
the Alumni Association… and I ask you to continue being one. One Family, One breed.
