CLINIC. JURISDICTION IV REYNOSA, TAMPS. Department: Nutrition
Position: Nutritionist Responsible of The Adolescent Module and Nutritional Care Center.
Period: February 2013 to Present.
Detection of patients from 0 to 19 years of age with a malnourished nutritional status, overweight
and obesity, realization of graphs percentiles according to age, providing training to mothers or
reasonable individual of the child to recover. Monthly control and management of the patient,
making menus at low costs according to the patient's issue. Realization of nominal census by age
group. Nutritional guidelines, training and updating of the program to health personnel. Nutritional
consultation to adolescent mothers, monthly monitoring of weight gain and their feeding.
Promotion of breastfeeding and healthy eating. References at the second level in case of severe
malnutrition and morbid obesity in the age groups. Support to the program of the woman
midwives breastfeeding during pregnancy. Recovery of patients for six months and recovery of
recovered children. Support to different health centers in training of mothers in the nutritional area,
as well as detection in primary and secondary schools screening the students and making
detections to refer to the nutritional centers.

Position: Nutrition Coordinator Program at Jurisdictional Level.
Period: February 2012 to January 2013.
Providing Training to health personnel on the guidelines of the popular nutrition insurance program in the
first level, Development and organization of events related to nutrition in the elementary, middle school
and high school level in the city, oversee state nutrition programs, wellness screening of children and
adolescents for detection of malnutrition, overweight and obesity. Realization of work plan for health units
to have a better productivity and at the same time a better impact jurisdictionally on the goals set by the
state. Contact with second level was proposed, to unify criteria and thus improve nutrition actions and
results for both levels. Realization of new formats to carry out a monthly report in the health units. Supervision
and support to health personnel in all units of the Jurisdiction IV.

guidance to nurses who oversee the program in their corresponding centers.

Position: Technical Advisor of The Area of Nutrition in The Sub direction of Rehabilitation Centers Reynosa.

Elaboration of menus for different health centers of Reynosa, Mexico as DAYCARES OF DIF I, II and III, NINO
