If you had the opportunity to move to another part of Malaysia, where would you
choose to live?
Explain your choice.

“The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” was once said by
an ancient Chinese philosopher and writer Lao Tzu. From his wise words, I believe
that he is conveying that moving around is a necessity in life. Without moving
around, we would be like a frog under a coconut shell. For some, they hop from
country to country for work, others travel for adventure or maybe they go on food
voyages. As for me I take moving around or travelling as an enjoyable but rather
pricey hobby. As I travel, I gained so many memories and knowledge too. If I had
the opportunity to move to another part of Malaysia, I would choose to live in
Cameron Highlands.

When I look back at the memories during my vacation at Genting Highlands

when I was a little girl, there were so many good ones indeed. I remembered Genting
Highlands as a great escapade from the hustle and bustle of the city, Kuala Lumpur
which is my place of residence. Genting Highlands is a great balance between a
modern and cultural hub that attracts many tourists annually. It is also known as a
great getaway for the city heat. Along the green hills of Genting Highlands, there are
also many great tourist attractions like the 21st Century Theme Park and Genting
Highland Factory Outlet which are entertaining places to spend my time at. My
parents, on the other hand, will absolutely enjoy the fresh air from way up the hills
because Genting Highlands is situated far away from the intoxicating smoke that is
released from factories on the mainland.

Furthermore, I would like to live at Genting Highlands for its beautiful landscape
from way up the hills. It is an illusion for me as if that I am living in a European
country. The fresh and cool air that wakes me up every morning would really be an
inviting feel for me to wake up to a progressive morning. Besides that, I can take
morning, evening or even night strolls at the plethora of parks they have there. For
example, there is the Butterfly Wonderland Genting park and the World of
Phalapaenopsis park that are situated near each other. It wouldn’t be a burden for me
to visit the parks at any time seeing how short it takes to go there.
Moreover, Genting Highlands is a safe place for my family and me to reside.
Based on my research for the past 10 years, there hasn’t been any assassin attacks
and raids in and near the area of Genting Highlands. There were not many natural
disasters too. With this, I can conclude that my family and I could have a calm rest
if we move to Genting Highlands. Apart from that, moving to Genting Highlands
could be a fantastic chance for my family and I to take a break from the hectic city
life. Instead, we can return back to our natural and spiritual roots and learn once
again how to appreciate the beauty of nature that is found in abundance at Genting
Highlands.
Besides that, Genting Highlands used to be the place of my grandparents’ old
residence. They have a classicaly styled 3 storey bungalw there that is surely worth
of apppraisal. Everytime my family and I or even any of my parents friends too
would go on holiday trips to Genting Higlands, we would always borrow my
grandparents bungalow as our accomodation. It realy cut our holiday cost and is
worth it beacuase the bungalow is well kept until today. If we were to really move
to Genting Higlands, my family and I would not have any difficulities to find a cheap
and comfortable accomodation since there is already my grandparent’s bungalow
there. In other words, it’s an extra perk to why I want to move there.
Genting Highland, even from it’s name we can imagine as a magistic place so if
I had the opportunity to move to another part of Malaysia , Genting Highlands still
would be my choice. It is the perfect definition of a weekend nature escape with a
tige of entertainment. If I were to move there, I don’t think that there were to be a
day where I woul db e bored because ther are so many things to do there. Hopefully,
when I grow up, I would want to buy a piece of land there, and have as my holiday
house so that I can go there anytinme that I wish to.
