Are you interested In learning more about Data Analysis? You know it’s necessary to be a strong programmer, but you don’t know how to get started. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to program In python; after completing the course, you’ll be better prepared to learn Data Analysis.
This workshop is for Analysts, Product Managers, Business Managers and anyone else who wants to build their Math and Stats skills for Data Analysis. Math and Stats are important building blocks of gathering and making sense of your company's data. The course is open to all and also acts as a preparation for Data Translators and Data Science Immersive.
What You’ll Learn / Takeaway: Whether you have taken College Statistics, or this is your first, this class will teach you the foundations of Math and Statistics and how to apply them to data analytics. Here’s what you’ll learn: ● Python Environment Setup ● Applied Math in Numpy ● Applied Statistics in Numpy and Pandas
Who Should Take this Class? For those of you interested in learning math and statistics for foundation python programming, so you may be better prepared for self-study in data analysis, this course will help you get up to speed.
Prerequisites: A desire to learn. Note: Previous programming experience can be helpful but is not necessary. Note 2: This course is also a great preparation for our Data Science Immersive.
