Client: Good morning nurse, thank God it's better nurses than this morning. My head is not dizzy
like before. My body is also lighter
Nurse: Alhamdulillah, nurses then. Mrs. Susi, I will do a check up on you, starting from measuring
your blood pressure to find out what your blood pressure is right now. In addition, I will also
measure the temperature, pulse and respiration of the mother. This is done to find out how your
health is developing. Don't you mind?
Client: No.
Nurse: I'll put this thermometer on my left armpit. Ma'am, please raise your hand so ma'am, then
beg your hands to bend over the chest. Ma'am, please don't move the hand first before I take the
thermometer, Mother
Nurse: Mother, please have your right arm cloth folded up, ma'am. I will measure mother's blood
pressure
Nurse: (put on a manshet and put on a stethoscope) What was your previous blood pressure?
Nurse: Now your blood pressure is 100/70. nurses take off manshets. Then the nurse's hand moves
to the client's right wrist while looking at the clock, then counts respiration. After calculating
respiration, the nurse takes a thermometer that is placed in the mother's armpit and reads it. Then
the tools are tidied up
Client: If I may know why yes, nurse, sometimes I feel tired, weak, lacking energy and my head feels
floating. Then if after sitting up straight up, my head feels dizzy
Nurse: Anemia is a condition when the number of red blood cells or the amount of hemoglobin
(oxygen-carrying protein) in red blood cells is below normal. Red blood cells contain hemoglobin
which allows them to carry oxygen from the lungs, and deliver it to all parts of the body. Anemia
causes a reduction in the number of red blood cells or the amount of hemoglobin in red blood cells,
so the blood cannot carry oxygen in the amount needed by the body. In addition to the mother's
feeling, there are still other symptoms such as pale or paleness, feeling often tired, shortness of
breath that is not natural during exercise, rapid heartbeat, cold acral (hands and feet) areas,
headaches
Nurse: The causes are a variety of ma'am, including accidents, childbirth, ruptured blood vessels,
hemorrhoids (hemorrhoids), and menstrual bleeding that is very much also can cause anemia
Nurse: you can eat nutritious foods, such as rice, vegetables, and side dishes. Fruit is also very
important, ma'amr. Especially foods that contain lots of iron
Client: I see
Nurse: Yes ma'am. Maybe there's something you want to ask again?
Client: Nothing, thank you. The information given earlier was enough for me. I now know what
anemia is, what causes it and how to prevent it
Nurse: Alright ma'am, I'll come back again around 13.00 to do a re-examination of the mother. How
is ma'am? Are you willing?
