• eCl@ss classification in your mother tongue!

Presently, we have extended eCl@ss to German, French and English languages. To facilitate this, we have a couple of
intuitively designed translation tools that have been very helpful to achieve accuracy in data translations. We consider
it as a big advantage to have a niche presence in the eCl@ss data and product classification arena.

• Competency and know-how

Our Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), are well-versed in the eCl@ss categorization and classification. They come with

• Data confidentiality
We adhere to, and have incorporated the latest data security measures and policies. We can invariably vouch for a fact
that our client’s data is safe and secure with us.

• Costing
Our prices are reasonably competitive.

Product Sourcing
Products are sourced from the respective Manufacturer’s / Supplier’s websites or catalogues to identify the
product and its specifications concisely.
The products are sourced as per the hierarchy given below:
• Manufacturer’s Website: The first step is to try to source the product information from the actual Manufacturer’s
website to obtain authenticated, reliable and precise results.
• Trusted Supplier: Suppose the product listing or required information is not present on the Manufacturer’s
website then the next logical step is to source the product information from the trusted supplier’s or distributors’
websites.
• General E-commerce Websites: If the product information is not found either in the Manufacturer’s or Trusted
Supplier’s website, then the next logical step is to source the product information from general E-commerce
websites.
• Not Found: When product listing or product details or any relevant information is absolutely not found even
after an exhaustive search, we conclude that the product is Not Found.
Note: Insufficient Description & Not Found: Just in case the description is not comprehensive to identify the product and
is Not Found, then the list of products are sent to the customer for more information.

eCl@ss Classification
The products are classified as per the hierarchy listed below,
• Exact Match: By a deeper understanding of the product type / class and by referring sourced data and input
description, we ensure that the product is classified as per its exactly available category in the 4th level.

• Keyword Search: For better match, the keywords are searched in the respective native language.

• Nearest Match: After an exhaustive search, just in case the precise product category is not available, the product will
be mapped to its nearest relevant category available.

• xx-xx-xx-90: If the product is mapped to the 3rd level in the hierarchy but doesn't have the exact 4th level match, it
will be classified as per xx-xx-xx-90 class.

• xx-xx-xx-91: If the product is mapped to the 3rd level in the hierarchy but doesn't have an exact 4th level match, and if
it is a part of an equipment, we classify it as per xx-xx-xx-91 class.

• xx-xx-xx-92: If the product is mapped to the 3rd level in the hierarchy but doesn't have an exact 4th level match, and if
it is an accessory of an equipment, we classify it as per xx-xx-xx-92 class.

• Multiple Classification: In some cases, the product can be classified into more than one category based on the product
and its application.

Note: Reduce xx-x-xx-90/91/92: We aim to and will work towards reducing the usage of xx-xx-xx-90/91/92 categories.
