Incell Smart Batteries


Step 1: Preparations
1.1 Corona unit is installed, configured and visible on ZON MAX
1.2 Prepare RJ45 8 pinouts according to the breakdown below. Only Pins 4, 5 and 6 will be in use
when connecting between the battery and the Corona.

Step 2: Set the Battery communication ID’s as follows


2.1 Each battery has micro switches which are used for setup, power up the panel by holding the
switch for 3-4 sec and then the LED screen will light.
2.2 Navigate to Id set up menu.
2.3 Battery ID - Configure ID 1 to the first battery, 2 to the second and on. For telecom sites up to
10 batteries are supported.
2.4 Baud rate - 9600

Step 3: Connect the battery to the Corona


3.1 Connect battery 1 to the Corona using the RJ45 connecter on the battery side and the direct
Pin connection to the Corona/terminal blocks.
3.2 GND should be connected to the Corona GND (Pin 40)

Step 4: TR7ZK2 Configuration


4.1 Connect the Corona to your PC using RS-485 to USB converter
4.2 Open the Power Center on your PC
4.3 At the bottom right-hand side of the of the main screen Select “Serial COM#” under Connect

4.4 The unit will connect, and you’ll see the unit’s details.
4.5 Choose TR7Z-K2 Device

4.6 Click “Read All Parameters” to ensure the unit is active and connected properly.

4.7 Navigate to Configuration - > Devices

4.8 Select “Battery-Incell” as a device you need to configure
4.9 Set Device ID

4.10 Click “Write All Parameters” in order to write the data to the unit

4.11 Navigate to “Status” tab and click “Request Status” button


4.12 Open the Smart Battery line to see the data from the panel
