Dear Families,

Tomorrow we will begin a sustainability competition between Mrs. Kosko

and Mrs. Manski’s homeroom classes in social studies! We ask that
students bring paper and plastic items from home to recycle. At the end of
each day, the recycled material of each class will be weighed and recorded.
Using an environmental footprint calculator, we will also see the impact
our recycling will make. On February 13, the winner for the most weight
recycled (in pounds) will be announced and a small prize will be awarded.
We thank you in advance for your support and are looking forward to
beginning this project together!
