What is a similar fraction? -Similar fraction is a fraction
with the same denominator.
Give me examples of similar fraction. -2/4 and ¾
-3/6 and 5/6

How do we add similar fraction? To add similar fraction, add the


numerator and copy the
denominator.

(Show a real carrot and a banana.)
Ask: What food can we make out of
Banana and carrot? Cake, juice
What are the ingredients in making
Banana cake? Sugar, flour
Now we will find out how much flour
is needed to make banana and
Carrot cake.
