Renewable resources – These are the resources that get renewed or replenished
quickly .
Non-renewable – These are those resources which have a limited stock . Once the
stocks are exhausted , it may take thousands of years to be renewed or replenished

Relationship Between Society And Environment
The relationship between society and environment can be broadly defined into two
forms :
Physical environment : It is composed of the conditions that nature provides to man.
Social environment :Social environment of an individual is the culture that he or she
lives in . The social environment consists of three kinds of environment –

Social environment
Psycho-social environment

Environment refers to the place , people, things and nature that surround
us . it is our basic life support system .
Two main components are :
Abiotic or the non-living aspects of earth like land , air , soil and
water.
Biotic or living organisms like man , animals and plants .
Types of eEnvironment
The Natural Environment (includes all living and non-living things
occurring naturally on earth .)
The Human-made Environment (includes human activities and their
interaction with the abiotic components.)
GREEN ECONOMY
It is an economy that aims at reducing environmental risks .
It means to achieve better quality of life on this planet earth .
