At the end of the discussion, the students should be able to
- Identify measuring hand tools and equipment
- Classify measuring hand tools and equipment
- Appreciate the importance of knowing measuring hand tools and equipment

Content Standard: The learner demonstrates an understanding of the preparation

of SMAW materials and tools.
Performance Standard: The learner independently prepares appropriate SMAW
materials and tools based on industry standards.

Motivation: Show the pictures below and ask the students on how to make an
accurate size and measurements of grills or other metals. Ask them what they will
use.
