Dear Readers,
It’s a brand new month. Are you excited? Every month brings wonderful
possibilities to learn new things. Do you look at life that way? Or do you worry
about all the bad things that could happen? Your attitude about life really does
matter. Badminton star Chou Tien-Chen agrees. He reminds
us of the importance of keeping a good attitude. You can read
about him this month in Studio Classroom starting on page 12.
Of course bad things do happen sometimes. Our teacher Doris
experienced a terrible earthquake in Hualien. She tells a story
about it, so be sure to read that article on page 32! And if you
loved the movie La La Land, we take you on a tour of LA to visit
locations from the movie beginning on page 44. It’s a fun way to
see an exciting city in a different way.
But most of all this month, we celebrate Easter on April 21. Millions of Christians
honor and recognize Jesus Christ’s resurrection from the dead. They look forward
to his promise of eternal life for all who believe in Him. I hope you will go to
church on Easter and learn more about the promise. God loves you and wants you
to be with Him forever. That’s not just a dream – it’s real!
I hope you are looking forward to exciting things this month. Join us each day
in class and learn something new. You’ll be glad you did.
Your Friend for Life,
