ABOUT FCRIT

Fr. Conceicao Rodrigues Institute of Technology

(FCRIT), one of the top engineering colleges, under the
domain of Mumbai University was established in 1994
by the zealous and pioneering efforts of the Agnel
Ashram fathers in order to attain an excellent platform
for technical education. FCRIT is known for bagging at
least one university 1st rank every year starting with its
first graduating batch and also prides in being one of
few that has NBA accreditation for all five branches.

Along with academic recognition, FCRIT has also

exceptionally flourished in its sports, extra-curricular
and co-curricular activities. The Government of
Maharashtra has awarded FCRIT an A grade in its first
assessment in recognition of the high quality value
based technical education , made possible by its
dedicated staff and extensive facilities, hence proving its
mark as a ‘college with a difference’.
ABOUT ETAMAX
ETAMAX is the annual techno-cultural inter college fest
of FCRIT. It is an exceptional confluence of exquisite
cultural displays with technical innovations and
reverberating in an aura filled with ecstasy, euphoria
and exhilaration.

This year, for ETAMAX 2020 we are all set with yet
another ravishing theme – ETAMAX LEHER which is
going to take the maximum of every student’s potential
under its majestic wave.

Date: 16th, 17th and 18th January, 2020

Venue: AGNEL TECHNICAL EDUCATION COMPLEX,
VASHI.
THEME DESCRIPTION
While we have all accepted our present inertia, we do
long for a wave of freshness and delight and ETAMAX is
always there to wash that monotony off of our
lives. The theme we present this time is thus, ‘Leher’ - a
wave of the most marvellous cultural and artistic
pursuits and technical novelties to leave away a breezy
aftertaste of euphoria and the beautiful corals of
memories, as it washes off the shore.
Let your symphonic appreciation and indulgence in art
and culture be as mighty as the great wave off
Kanagawa as we treat you with a series of events
organised just for you.
That’s not all, for all of you tech savvy beans these three
fabulous days are for you to translate your ideas into
ripples of innovation and exercise the entirety of your
technical acumen in the sea of events we present.
Now who doesn’t love the soothing waves crashing
against your feet while they sink into the soft sand.
Hence, with ETAMAX 2020, we strive to bring you this
exact feeling of calm accompanied with the enthralment
of exploring new ideas, widening your horizons and
letting your creative juices flow, while you bask in the
January sun and enjoy the cool winter breeze.
ETAMAX FOR A CAUSE
Water covers over 97% of our planet and sustains life
on Earth. But unfortunately, most of our trash is
dumped into these, endangering the marine life while
also degrading the quality of water beyond repair.
However, there is still room for change and we realise
that it is not only the government or any industry who
takes the blame, our actions as individuals matter and
need to be rectified.
Here at FCRIT we recognise the urgency of the same and
wish to do our bit for the planet and the water
resources.
We hereby take the responsibility of organizing a clean-
up drive of the local water bodies around us namely the
DADAR BEACH, JUHU BEACH and the MITHI RIVER to do
our bit to save the marine ecosystem near us.
Some percentage of the amount that we generate
from our fest ETAMAX 2020 will be donated to an
NGO helping them carry on the good work.
