Introducing Odyssey 3.

0
Following the mega success of its Crest events and
Odyssey 2.0, The City School DHA Campus is proud to
announce the third edition of Odyssey, comprising 5
event categories across a diverse range of skillsets.
The event is scheduled to take place over a three-day
course period from 19th January to 21st January
2024.

From the onset of the first Odyssey event to this year’s


Mega event, the journey of Odyssey has been one of
learning, development, constructive competition and
collaboration between TCS – DHA Campus and other
participating institutions from across Punjab.

Our flagship event – Odyssey 3.0 – is a combination


of Entrepreneurship, Gaming and Sports Riot providing
competitive contests for students to exhibit their
talent, creativity and skills.

We would like to take this opportunity to invite your


students to participate in this year’s Odyssey 3.0!
Sports Riot
The third year of its running, this time we bring to you a
more competitive sports fiesta; flaunt your skill in the field
(pun intended of football).

Pull off some slick dunks and deep threes while being
backed by the crowd’s energetic cheer.

Cope with the time pressure and the ever–changing tide in


volleyball, battle it out with teams/players of other schools
all rustling for the same thing... VICTORY!

soon you will be sitting in front of executives who are
not so lenient in their selection.

Over the span of 3 days, delegates will be faced with a


variety of challenges ranging from interviews to
investigations. Whether you are an experienced
Business student or not, need not to worry.

Our assortment of impromptu and preparation


categories will be a fit for you. A stressful yet
interesting event to partake in if I do say so myself.
However, keep your eyes open as there may be a
surprise up ahead. It’s been a pleasure doing business
with you!

Presenting to you our category of Performing Arts!
Where you all will get an opportunity to disclose your
talents, be who you truly feel you are and have a
chance to bring out your inner artists while getting
cheered on by an exuberant crowd!

Whether you want to perform individually or as a


group, you are welcome to choose from Dance,
Monologues and Plays. The choice is yours. Tamasha
is all about getting out of the comfort zone and
showing the world what one is truly capable of beyond
society’s limitations and expectations.

Da Vinci Saga is all about what you show us through


your paintings or pictures, it is an experience with
endless possibilities where nothing is wrong.

Registration Rules:

• Odyssey 3.0 registrations open officially on 20th


December, 2023
• Registrations are required to be made online
through the form on tcsodyssey.com
• Registration guidelines are present on the website.
All information pertaining to the registration such as
team details and category choices must be filled in the
form.
• Each delegation must be represented by a head
delegate who will be held accountable for his/her
delegation.
• After registration the head delegate will be sent an
email that confirms their registration and tallies their
pending dues.
• Delegations must clear their dues by physical
payment at the school’s office or via online bank
transfer to the school’s official account.
• In case of online registration, proof of successful
transaction and account number must be emailed to
the registrations team.
• Once registration’s team verifies that all dues have
been cleared the head delegate will receive a
confirmatory email which would affirm their presence
at Odyssey 3.0
• Delegations may either represent institutions
officially or may sign up as a private delegation
• In the scenario where institutions register multiple
teams; Delegates from team A will not be allowed to
participate in team B if both are registered to the same
category. Each team will be judged individually.
• Delegates are requested to bring their CNIC/bay
forms with them on the event.
• Regular time registrations must be made clear by
12th January, 2024
• After the 12th of January new delegations will be
registered under late registration.
• Fee structure:
Delegation fee (regular):2000 PKR
Delegation fee (late):2500 PKR
Delegate fee: 1500
Per extra category fee: 300 PKR
• Any queries may be leveled to provide below phone

• The City School DHA Campus holds all rights to
make amendments to registrations policy at any given
moment.
• Socials will be free of cost to delegates, this
includes the concert as well.
General Details:
• Event Dates: 19th, 20th and 21st
• A Team may have a maximum of 10 members,
however make sure to consult each sub category cap.
• Each team can participate in all 5 categories.
• No compulsory categories.
• Categories have limited spots and will be allocated
on a first-come-first-serve basis
• Once the fees are paid the Odyssey team is not
liable for any refunds.
• The Best Delegation award will be decided by the
accumulation of all individual team points of an
institution.

Disciplinary Guidelines:
• No Smoking, use of liquor, or the any drug related
substances during the event.
• No portrayal of obscenity and hostile material.
• Avoid noncompliance with the judges’ decisions.
The choices of the judges are deemed too and will not
be argued over.
• Zero tolerance on harassment! Strict action will be
taken.
• Sheer clothing is not allowed.
