Located along the Rizal Avenue, Barangay Liwanag, this historical landmark celebrated the first mass in

Puerto Princesa in 1872 where a Spanish expedition proclaimed the Immaculate Conception of Mary as
the Patroness of Puerto Princesa.

One of the famous tourist destinations in the city, the blue-colored cathedral with its pointed
symmetrical arches has a touched of Gothic craftsmanship style in which reminds you of Medieval
Europe era.

Binuatan Weaving Center, or Binuatan Creations is a well-known handicraft shop that manufactures
handloom woven products utilizing Palawan’s indigenous fibers.

Remnants of the untold suffering of some American and Filipino soldiers during the World War II is still
found here in this place known as "Plaza Cuartel".

The historic Taytay Fort or known as the Fuerza de Santa Isabel was built in 1667 under the Augustinian
Recollect Fathers. The fort was used as a military station during that period and named in honor of
Spain's Queen Isabela II in the 19th century. This famous remnant was completed on 1738. It was mainly
used to defend against Muslim warrior-raiders in their colorful war boats while the Spanish soldiers fire
at them with their huge cannons.

Saint Augustine Church was first constructed of nipa by the Augustinian Recollects, but was rebuilt in its
current form in the early 18th century to be able to repel marauding Moro raiders during the Spanish
period, doubling as a launching pad for Recollect missionaries in the Christianization of Palawan.

Estrella Falls is a popular picnic destination for locals and especially family groups. This secluded
destination features a refreshing swimming area with cascading cool waters from a 20-ft high falls. It’s
probably not worth a special trip down here from Puerto Princesa but it's a nice picnic spot for those
that live in the area. Troops of monkeys come down on the weekends to get handouts from the local
kids. No wonder, Estrella Falls has been a favorite destination of tourists in Palawan because it is
considered as one of the cleanest inland bodies of water in the Philippines.

The Tabon Cave, in fact, was populated by peoples earlier than Tabon Man, since stone tools were there
again to prove this. The deepest soil deposit of the cave was dated to aprroximately 50,000 years old,
and the youngest to about 10,000 years. This shows that the cave was used continuously for about
40,000 years by peoples that used the same kind of tools.

This park features a spectacular limestone karst landscape with an underground river. One of the river's
distinguishing features is that it emerges directly into the sea, and its lower portion is subject to tidal
influences. The area also represents a significant habitat for biodiversity conservation. The site contains a
full 'mountain-to-sea' ecosystem and has some of the most important forests in Asia.

Touted as the “Philippines‘ longest stretch of white sand beach,” the Long Beach of San Vicente, in
Palawan, straddles approximately 14.7 kilometers of undeveloped shoreline, more than three (3) times
longer than the White Beach of Boracay. With two (2) rocky cliffs interrupting the continuous expanse of
sugary white sand beach dividing it into three (3) coves, the Long Beach stretches to the coastline of four
(4) barangays / villages, namely Poblacion, New Agutaya, San Isidro and Alimanguan. It is one of the most
extraordinary beaches in the country and is cnsidered as the crown jewel of San Vicente.

Located just 30 km from Puerto Princesa City, Nagtabon Beach is one of the finest beaches on Palawan.
Its proximity to the city makes Nagtabon Beach an ideal choice for beach lovers who prefer to stay close
to the civilization, while still enjoying pure nature.
