Read Aloud
We will be reading aloud The World According to
Humphrey throughout the month of March.

Trivia Questions
For every chapter we read, students will be asked to
answer a trivia question about that chapter. The
answers will be thrown into a bucket and the first
answer that I pull from the bucket that is correct will get
a small prize.

Humphrey Snacks
Wednesdays will be “Eat Like Humphrey” days. I will provide a snack for the class
that Humphrey would eat – raw fruits and veggies, unsweetened cereal, etc.

Home Activities
Notebook Entries
Humphrey will be coming to visit your home one night during the month of March
(your night is listed on the attached calendar). When Humphrey visits, please
have your son/daughter record his/her adventures with Humphrey in the
Humphrey’s Adventures Notebook. The adventures can be anything (a trip to
the park, a trip to McDonalds, watching a movie, etc.) Feel free to be creative!!
The title of this entry will be “Humphrey’s Adventures with (student’s
name).” Also, DON’T FORGET to take a picture of your adventure(s) with
Humphrey. Then email the picture(s) to Mrs. McGrath so she can add it to the
notebook. Please, please, please remember to bring Humphrey and the
notebook back the next day. We will share these adventures with the class
